Your Role
As an SLP at AutismCOE, you’ll provide individualized speech-language therapy to children with autism, focusing on improving communication, language, and feeding/swallowing skills. Your expertise will help children build essential connections and reach meaningful milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored, high-quality speech-language therapy with a focus on empathy and clinical effectiveness
Evaluate and treat speech, language, social communication, and feeding/swallowing challenges
Design customized therapy plans with families, grounded in evidence-based strategies
Collaborate with BCBAs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver integrated, child-focused care
Complete thorough, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and reports
Stay informed about clinical best practices and adhere to professional and ethical standards
What You Bring
Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY with supervision
Experience working with pediatric clients, particularly children with autism
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Passion for helping children grow and a commitment to ongoing professional development
