About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sonographer to join our medical imaging team, providing advanced ultrasound and radiographic procedures across diverse clinical specialities. Using specialised equipment and exercising a high level of professional independence, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and supporting patient care. In this role, you will contribute to the development of professional standards, mentor radiographers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services.
As an integral part of the team, you will actively participate in routine research programs and help coordinate ultrasound quality assurance initiatives to maintain service excellence. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to expand their expertise and collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment to improve imaging outcomes for patients.
About You
Expertise in Ultrasound Procedures:
Proven ability to perform a wide range of standard and complex ultrasound imaging procedures, selecting and adapting methods to suit clinical needs.
Strong Analytical and Leadership Skills:
Ability to analyse situations, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the training and development of less experienced staff.
Collaborative and Effective Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or within multidisciplinary teams while fostering positive relationships.
In-Depth Knowledge of Imaging Practices:
Specialised knowledge in best practices, quality assurance, safety protocols, and medico-legal responsibilities to ensure accurate and safe imaging outcomes.
