Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs during labor and delivery. Assist in emergency situations and perform life-saving procedures as needed. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for continuity of care. Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback and results. Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes and postpartum care. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations. Contribute to a positive work environment and support team success. Engage in continuous learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge. Participate in professional development and training opportunities. Utilize hospital resources efficiently to achieve patient care goals. Experience/Qualifications
Hold a valid RN license in Colorado with specialization in labor and delivery. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing. Ability to perform emergency procedures such as neonatal resuscitation. Ability to work efficiently in a high-visibility, results-driven environment. Proficient in monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs. Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
