Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join the IRW team in Omaha, NE! A Physical Therapist enhances the lives of individuals by utilizing their assessment and evaluative skills to determine an appropriate physical therapy plan using evidence-based treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability. Completes evaluations for referred individuals, utilizes appropriate tests and measures establishing a timely plan of care in compliance with departmental standards and federal and state regulations. Completes patient treatments efficiently in accordance with plan of care progressing patient as appropriate to achieve established goals. Completes accurate charging of services and provides documentation to support the charges and provision of the therapy services. Manages each patient’s plan of care effectively by timely interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with physician involvement as needed. Supervises, collaborates, and delegates appropriate care to assistants, techs, and other support personnel per federal and state regulations. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program required. At least two years of experience performing physical therapy in a long term care, post-acute, hospital, home care or similar setting preferred. Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a physical therapist.
