$2,172.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in Corpus Christi, Texas. The technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.

This role requires a strong technical background, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a small but fast-paced department.

Key Responsibilities

Perform vascular, body, extremity, thyroid, and transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound exams in accordance with established protocols.

Assist with interventional procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.

Operate GE Logic E9 and E10 ultrasound equipment to produce quality diagnostic images.

Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning, and image documentation.

Evaluate ultrasound results for quality and completeness before submission to the radiologist.

Maintain a safe and sterile work environment in compliance with infection control policies.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Perform portable ultrasound exams as needed.

Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and image management.

Adhere to facility dress code (hunter green scrubs) and hospital policies.

Qualifications

ARDMS or ARRT (RVT) certification required (Vascular registered).

BLS certification (required).

Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic or vascular sonography.

Proficient in scanning vascular structures, small parts, abdomen, and soft tissues.

Experience with interventional ultrasound procedures (paracentesis/thoracentesis) preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-focused, empathetic, and safety-oriented approach.

Ability to work independently and as part of a small diagnostic imaging team.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test required.
