This position is located at Mount Carmel East. Position Purpose: The
Interventional Radiographer
performs angiographic procedures including invasive vascular treatments and examinations, ensuring optimal image quality. The role involves various technical tasks and responsibilities. What You Will Do: Perform a variety of interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging. Enter charges accurately in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure compliance with administrative policies. Participate in On-Call coverage as required. Follow Radiation Safety guidelines as outlined in the MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual. Minimum Qualifications: Education:
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program. Licensure / Certification:
Registered Radiographer by ARRT, valid Ohio Radiological License; CI or CV registry preferred. Experience:
At least 2 years in diagnostic radiography; angiography, cardiac catheterization, or surgical experience preferred. Maintain current CPR certification. Additional Requirements: Associate degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience. Experience in managed care insurance industry required. Ability to apply regulations, reconcile payment reports, and report data. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer service skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
