Shift: Day; Schedule: PRN; Weekly Hours: Varies; Salary: $37.50 - $62.00; Facility: GSS MN St Peter Hm Care.
Job Summary Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients with injury or disease; utilizes tools and techniques to administer interventions following safeguards; documents client information; establishes and modifies therapeutic plans; educates clients and families about treatment and self‑exercise. Demonstrates current research knowledge and follows clinical practice guidelines. Expects flexibility with variable work schedules, participates in department and organization activities, may supervise aides and students, and provides ongoing education to peers.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
Deliver therapeutic interventions, monitor progress, and modify plans as needed.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
Document patient data accurately and maintain compliance with departmental guidelines.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and departmental activities.
Provide supervision and training to support staff and students.
Maintain current professional knowledge and certifications.
Qualifications
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
Valid Driver’s License (if applicable).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or required within first 60 days.
Required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
Ability to work variable schedules and PRN shifts.
