Phlebotomist II
- Crossville, TN Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM – 2:30 PM Friday: 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Job Description Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams, and other tests. Administer oral solutions, manage specimen processing (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transportation), and perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, and answering phones. Maintain accurate phlebotomy logs and complete required training courses.
Pay Range $19.32+ per hour, with potential annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
Collect specimens according to established procedures.
Administer oral solutions according to established training.
Research test/client information and confirm orders using lab technology systems.
Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments as required.
Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
Perform all non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email).
Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
Maintain all phlebotomy logs (maintenance logs, temperature logs).
Complete online and in-person training courses in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Three years of phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
The position requires effective communication in English.
