BH Crisis Services Clinician II - Crisis Consult Liaison Service
Schedule: 36hr/week – 8am-8pm – varying days; weekends included.
Provides clinical assessment, behavioral health treatment, case management, care coordination, and crisis intervention for children, adolescents, and their families across all professional and clinical settings.
Essential Functions
Accurately assesses and documents client presenting problems, history, symptomology, mental status, and diagnosis. Prescribes initial interventions in a timely manner.
Assists in developing specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
Employs strategies of intervention that are consistent with empirically supported treatments and consistent with program expectations.
Coordinates client care with other service providers and community resources to assure continuity of care.
Completes clinical charting and other related administrative paperwork in accordance with policy standards.
Remains current in general knowledge of psychopharmacology in pediatric behavioral healthcare and collaborates consistently with team psychiatrist.
Education Requirement Master’s Degree from an accredited university or professional school of Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy, required.
Licensure Requirement
Appropriate Ohio licensure, required. Must remain current in required licensure and clinical or other training as required.
Independent license, preferred.
Skills & Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, peers, and community representatives.
Experience providing and managing culturally appropriate and trauma-informed behavioral healthcare to children, adolescent and families, required.
Physical Requirements OCCASIONALLY: Bend/twist, Climb stairs/ladder, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Loud Noises, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Reaching above shoulder, Squat/kneel, Working Outdoors
FREQUENTLY: Flexing/extending of neck, Sitting, Standing, Walking
CONTINUOUSLY: Audible speech, Color vision, Computer skills, Decision Making, Depth perception, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Hearing acuity, Interpreting Data, Peripheral vision, Problem solving, Repetitive hand/arm use, Seeing – Far/near
