2nd (3pm - 11pm) and 3rd (11pm - 7am)
shifts, depending on company vacancies. This role is subject to mandatory scheduled overtime. Physical Location: 4400 Progress Blvd, Louisville, KY 40218 The Job You Will Perform: Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels. Perform emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations. Reference equipment manuals and other technical literature. Work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results. Accurately use measurement and test equipment. Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed. Safely operate the boiler and maintain adequate operating steam pressure (> 160 PSI). Maintain clean and organized work areas, and clean up work areas after completing tasks. Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork. Troubleshoot and solve problems. Maintain teamwork with other associates. Keep supervision informed of problems and/or unusual situations. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision. Maintain overall plant waste goal by completing SPIs at appropriate intervals and identifying waste opportunities. Understand the importance of producing food-safe packaging products and contribute to maintaining this environment, including operational methods, personnel practices, maintenance, and cleaning practices involved in food contact product production. The Skills You Will Bring: 5 years of industrial electrical experience and/or a 2-year Industrial Electrical Degree. The ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation. The ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices. Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience. The ability to learn, follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team.
