Job Description Automation Personnel, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated and skilled
Diesel Mechanic
to join our customer’s growing team in
Dayton, TX . If you are passionate about keeping trucks ready and take pride in your mechanical expertise, we want to hear from you.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on diesel trucks and trailers, including inspections, oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on diesel-powered vehicles.
Troubleshoot and repair air brake and suspension systems, PTOs, pumps, and drive-line components.
Install, service, and maintain fuel and cargo systems, including valves and piping (MC331 knowledge is a plus).
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed.
Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet DOT and company safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
Strong knowledge of air brake and suspension systems.
Knowledge of PMs, electrical systems, PTO, and pump/drive-line installation and repair.
Familiarity with MC331 cargo tanks, piping, and valves is a plus.
Must have own tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
