Nutrition Support Registered Dietitian
for a full-time inpatient position with Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, a 700-bed trauma hospital located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Must have CNSC certification OR willing to obtain within one year of hire. Start With 3 Weeks' Vacation and 3 Personal Days. Flexible Work Shifts Available. Free Meals. Free Parking. Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal. Money toward continuing education events. Up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement annually. This position may be eligible for sign on bonus or relocation assistance. Responsibilities
Comprehensive nutrition assessments/reassessments and counseling of general and complex patients and their families per the Nutrition Care Process model. Cover the ICU and stepdown unit responsible for providing nutrition support recommendations/orders. Actively participate in daily multidisciplinary rounding with care team members. Provide education to patients, as well as staff, and work well with the interdisciplinary team. Be involved in quality improvement and research projects as opportunities arise. What We Offer

Minimum Education Requirement: Master\'s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor\'s degree with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND Credentials: Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) with CDR; will become registered within 120 days of hire State licensure as required; some states require at time of hire Minimum Management Experience: 7+ months general supervision Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years as a clinically specialized practitioner Not Applicable for Seniority level | Employment type: Full-time | Job function: Health Care Provider | Industries: Facilities Services, Hospitals and Health Care, and Hospitality
