You will support the scouting and evaluation of new materials and chemistries and collaborate with internal and external partners. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone curious, independent, and eager to grow. Behind our doors you'll be empowered every day to own it, drive it, and do what it takes to design and develop the biggest breakthroughs in the industry. Responsibilities and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have: A desire to lead the scouting, designing and validating of novel battery cell technologies, focusing on improving energy, power, charge rate and cycle life. The drive & ownership to design, execute, and analyze experiments related to new material and cell testing. The ability to collaborate across disciplines to integrate new technologies into our platforms. The expertise to analyze electrochemical data, carry out root cause analysis, and investigate degradation or failure mechanisms. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or a related field is required. 1-2 years of experience in battery technologies like Li-Ion, Na-Ion, Solid-State etc. is preferred. Experience with using SEM/EDS, TGA/DSC, GC-MS, XRD, FTIR, EIS, glovebox, cycle life testers and abuse testing is preferred. Lab experience is a must. Interest in exploring innovative technologies and identify opportunities and advantages, with a strong drive to learn and grow with a never settle, always improving attitude. Effective time management skills with a strong sense of ownership. Clear, candid communicator who enjoys collaborating with others and building relationships across disciplines. Benefits
