Essential/Core Job-specific Duties And Responsibilities
Assist clients using Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) to identify safe wellness tools and create a crisis or post crisis plan; conduct regular meetings to help identify strengths and support clients in communicating goals to staff and clinicians.
Assist clients in coordinating with their case manager and other clinicians and prescribers to determine steps toward personal goals and self directed recovery in individual or group settings; support clients in identifying and developing recovery goals using skills, supports and resources.
Model recovery competency, resiliency, wellness strategies and related techniques for clients and coworkers; share personal recovery journey to demonstrate the value of recovery and teach clients self advocacy to sustain recovery.
Complete documentation and related paperwork within 48 hours of service delivery; ensure it is routed to the supervisor for approval and follow agency documentation guidelines.
Meet service productivity standards of at least 62.5 percent (5 of 8 work hours) for the provision of peer services, with documentation that meets Clinical Record Handbook specifications and agency ethics standards.
