The Fabricator will be responsible for bending, shearing, cutting and otherwise forming sheet and structural materials in accordance with engineering and manufacturing specifications to provide a completed assembly, within a specified allotted time, that meets all drawing specifications. The 2nd Shift Fabricator will be responsible for bending, shearing, cutting and otherwise forming sheet and structural materials in accordance with engineering and manufacturing specifications to provide a completed assembly, within a specified allotted time, that meets all drawing specifications. Must have a strong commitment to company values of honesty, trust, fairness, and mutual respect. Follow all safety rules, company policies and procedures. Read and understand a workorder packet and other related documentation to determine what work needs to be done and the appropriate processes to be used. Read and understand blueprints and Engineering drawings. Obtain correct material identified in the work order packet. Communicate with production supervisor regarding any non-conformances in shop materials, instructions, or other irregularities. Inform production supervisor on completion of job tasks assigned, including applicable quality checks. Successfully operate a variety of equipment, including CNC laser cutter, shear, punch presses, and bending equipment/brake press, to fabricate parts required for tooling fixtures for production. Utilizing shop documentation, BOM’s, tooling, fixtures, and jugs (as required), selecting the proper material and fabricate a variety of parts to meet production schedules. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on machines as required in order to keep machinery and equipment functioning properly and to minimize breakdowns. Keep work area neat and clean. Complete necessary paperwork. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

0-2 years of experience or equivalent training in fabrication processes in addition to HS diploma or GED. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and understand manufacturing documents. Must have good math skills and be able to read/use a ruler, tape measure, calipers, and micrometers. Ability to define basic/routine problems, evaluate and establish facts and seek solutions to problems. Full body movement. Ability to lift/move, carry, push and/or pull items weighing up to 50 lbs. Be able to stand for long periods of time (5+ hours a day). Must be able to work in a noisy environment. Very good eyesight. Constant alertness. Good attendance record. Benefits
