Title: WISCO Trucking Diesel Mechanic Technician Location: Williston, North Dakota Department: Operations Job Description: WTI is hiring qualified diesel mechanics in Williston North Dakota! Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks, oilfield equipment, and other heavy machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Perform routine fleet maintenance including oil changes, tire changes, and service brakes, shoes and drums as needed. Follow the established truck and equipment preventive maintenance schedule provided by the Service Manager. Requirements
Experience as a diesel mechanic, with hands-on experience in the oilfield, construction, or heavy equipment industries. High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or trade school preferred). Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical system maintenance. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures, and on uneven surfaces. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods. General Benefits
