What does a Maintenance Mechanic do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general facility maintenance tasks in a 24/7 production environment. Responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, disassembling, and troubleshooting complex equipment involved in production processes, including high-speed automated machinery and other manufacturing equipment.
Job Details:
Schedule: 10pm - 6:30am (Mon-Fri, weekends and OT as needed)
Location: Wilsonville plant
Responsibilities:
Support production lines by troubleshooting failures and making necessary repairs to maximize efficiency
Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP
Participate in rebuilds and overhauls of production and support equipment
Assist with parts management and communicate deficiencies
Provide communication through shift reports
Participate in continuous improvement processes
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Follow safety, quality, and environmental policies
Operate SAP for inventory and maintenance management
Clean tools and equipment after repairs
Install equipment and support lean supply chain initiatives
Operate and monitor equipment, replenish materials
Perform quality reviews of equipment to ensure safety and performance standards
Requirements:
Trade School certification preferred
2+ years of maintenance experience
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read schematics
Welding and fabrication experience
Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems
Ability to learn new software quickly; strong computer skills
Skills in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, fabrication, docks and doors, security systems
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to lift 50 pounds
