AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures.
The Role You'll Contribute
The Respiratory Therapist I performs all necessary routine respiratory care procedures associated with acute or critically ill neonatal, pediatric, or adult patient populations and is able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. The Value You'll Bring To The Team: Implement clinical strategies that incorporate respiratory therapy assessment-driven protocols that are patient-centric, value driven, and evidence-based best practices focused on disease management. Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Graduate from an AMA approved program by the National Board of Respiratory Care in Respiratory Therapy is required. AAS or AS is required. Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required BLS, ACLS certifications required Graduate RRT up to two years of acute care experience required Current Florida State License as an RRT/Registered Respiratory Therapist This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
