Conduct preadmission screenings and psychological evaluations of inmates. Provide crisis intervention, individual therapy, and treatment planning. Participate in interdisciplinary team evaluations and consult with medical staff. Engage in program evaluation, research, and staff training. Collaborate with custody staff and participate in institutional committees. Minimum Qualifications
Valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology. Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution meeting Section 2914 of the Medical Board of California's Business and Professions Code. Candidates in the process of obtaining licensure may be considered but must secure licensure within three years of employment. Compensation and Benefits
Pay range is provided by California Correctional Health Care Services and will depend on skills and experience. Additional incentives include recruitment and retention bonuses, a $10,000 one-time stipend, a potential monthly differential, and a $5,000 referral bonus after 90 days of employment.
