Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic medical geneticist to join our AdventHealth Medical Genetics & Genomics program in Orlando, Florida. The physician will work alongside two other clinicians and genetic counselors to grow our dynamic program and provide comprehensive, state‑of‑the‑art genetic and genomic services to patients across the AdventHealth system locally, regionally, and nationally.
Responsibilities The new physician will:
Work in our outpatient clinic Monday‑Friday, 8AM‑5PM, and participate in a call rotation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of experienced clinicians in pediatric and adult cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, medical‑fertility medicine, neurology, and transplantation surgery.
Provide patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Engage with our research team, conducting clinical trials and studies to advance patient care.
Requirements
Board certification in Clinical Genetics through the American Board of Medical Genetics & Genomics.
Board eligibility will be considered, but certification must be achieved within two years of employment.
Prior experience is a plus but not required.
Comfortable working with advanced practice providers and genetics counselors.
Comfortable working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
