Respiratory Care Practitioner
– Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center, Chandler, AZ. Job Summary
As a Respiratory Therapist at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will join an established team of RTs dedicated to caring for patients with breathing issues. You will provide specialized cardiopulmonary care including ventilator management, nebulizer treatment, oxygen therapies, external ventilation support, and pulmonary function assessments. Responsibilities
Performs full range of basic respiratory care for all patient populations. Performs and documents a complete patient assessment, including vital signs, breath sounds, cough, and respiratory pattern with each ventilator system check. Checks all equipment and respiratory modalities (both invasive and non‑invasive), maintains alarms, and documents accurately. Performs ABGs utilizing two patient identifiers, properly handles specimens, reports critical values, and maintains blood gas lab logs. Correctly charges, labels, scans, and discards medications (including patient‑owned medications). Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED. Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program. AZ Respiratory Therapist License. National Certified Respiratory Therapist (NCRT) or National Registered Respiratory Therapist (NRRT). American Heart Association‑issued BLS certificate. One year of Level One Trauma ICU experience. Preferred Qualifications
National Registered Respiratory Therapist credential. American Heart Association‑issued ACLS certificate. NRP or PALS certificate. Benefits
