Labor and Delivery RN - Acute Care (Flexible Shift) Full-time Labor and Delivery RN - Acute Care (Flexible Shift) at Resiliency LLC. This role focuses on delivering optimal care to mothers and newborns in a state-of-the-art Acute Care facility. Prenatal care and assessment: conduct comprehensive admissions assessments, monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, identify potential complications, and educate patients on labor and delivery expectations. Labor support and management: provide emotional support, administer medications and epidurals as prescribed, monitor labor progression, and assist with pain management techniques. Delivery assistance: prepare the delivery room and equipment, assist obstetricians during vaginal and cesarean deliveries, perform immediate newborn assessments and interventions, and facilitate skin-to-skin contact and early breastfeeding initiation. Postpartum care: monitor maternal recovery and newborn adaptation; provide education on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Qualifications
Minimum 1 year recent L&D experience in an acute care hospital setting Active California Registered Nurse License Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends Strong communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Emotional resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure Additional Information
