Independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. Work within your scope of practice and in accordance with licensure in medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture. Coordinate patient flow and departmental activities, including radiation protection practices. Exercise professional judgment to maintain equipment in good condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on-call responsibilities and work at multiple sites. Education:
Minimum of an Associate degree in Allied Health, majoring in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Licensure/Certification:
CPR certification within 30 days of hire, Nuclear Medicine registry, ODH licensure, and ARRT RT(R) and/or NMTCB certification. Experience:
No prior experience required; preferred one year in Nuclear Medicine. Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, Ohio Department of Health regulations, proficiency in EMR, RIS, and Image Storage systems. Employment Details:
