Progression to the highest pay level depends on experience and performance. Responsibilities
Provide a range of direct psychological services to youth adjudicated delinquent of felony offenses and committed to the agency by a juvenile court. Conduct trauma-informed individual, group, family, trauma, and crisis counseling sessions; administer and interpret psychological evaluations for youth at risk of suicide or in need of specialized treatment. Assist in monitoring the agency\'s Texas Model of Trauma-Informed Corrections treatment program and review/monitor specialized treatment programs. Collaborate with facility staff, administrators, treatment staff, case management, parole officers, and contracted staff; participate in MDT/YST staffing for youth transitioning into the community and exiting the agency system. Lead or train others as needed and participate in program evaluations and in-service training for facility staff. Document direct services provided to youth and families and coordinate with program staff in planning, development, implementation, analysis, and documentation of agency programs. Provide policy interpretation, advice, and guidance related to the program; assist in developing program policies. May work beyond 40 hours per week, include various shifts, on-call duties, and travel occasionally as required. Minimum Qualifications
