Responsibilities
Patient Care Execution: Under the supervision of an occupational therapist, execute the therapeutic plans designed to help patients, including teaching adaptive equipment, guiding exercises, and engaging patients in activities crucial to recovery. Activity and Program Planning: Contribute to planning and selecting therapeutic activities tailored to each patient’s needs and goals, applying creative and practical approaches to meet objectives. Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document patient progress, observe changes, report to the occupational therapist, and adjust interventions to ensure continuous improvement. Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and families about therapy, adaptive equipment, and home modifications, and provide clear instructions to continue practices at home. Qualifications
Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current license/certification in the state of practice TMC is an equal opportunity employer. Benefits
