RN Ambulatory Team Lead - Pediatrics

As RN Team Lead, you will coordinate and oversee daily operations, workflows, delivery of care and caregiver education as needed. Some of your responsibilities will include direct patient support, while others are more clerical and administrative in nature. Caregivers in this role will work mainly 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hours will vary based on facility needs. Rotations include evenings and weekends. Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings. Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care. Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues. Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives. Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers. Assist in preparing department specific education. Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety. Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Two years of recent RN experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN). Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience. Previous pediatrics experience. Physical Requirements
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination. Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range. May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids. Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, the job should be rated Light Work when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $31.50 Maximum hourly: $49.90 Seniority Level
