Responsibilities
Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has been providing quality health care to residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. We also have numerous facilities throughout the Texoma region. TMC offers a spectrum of physical, mental, and spiritual services, including major specialty services such as open heart surgery and neurosurgery, supported by advanced resources like certified trauma care, establishing TMC as a regional specialty center.

Position Summary Works under the supervision of a licensed nurse to assist in meeting patients' physical and psychosocial needs in a professional and timely manner. Performs tasks as per competency documentation. Provides direct care with limited invasive procedures. Additional duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Reading and numerical competency.
Completion of BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI guidelines. All required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) courses will be provided during orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to clinical work. Handle With Care training within 6 months of hire.
Ability to provide basic caregiving skills, effective communication, and time management.
