Be the Calm in the Storm as a Mobile Crisis Clinician

This is a hybrid, community-based position scheduled Saturday & Sunday 8p-8a.

Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments where your clinical skills can truly change lives? As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you’ll be on the front lines providing immediate, person-centered crisis intervention to individuals in behavioral health distress. You’ll assess needs, de‑escalate crises, and ensure individuals are connected with the care and resources they need — all while collaborating with a compassionate and skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely crisis assessment and intervention via phone, video, or in person

Conduct Zero Suicide screenings and risk evaluations

Make clinically sound decisions to stabilize individuals and refer to appropriate services

Coordinate care with internal teams and external community partners

Deliver culturally responsive, trauma‑informed care

Document services accurately and maintain compliance with agency and state standards

Participate in supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Regional travel required; hybrid work environment with office‑based shifts required

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

High School/GED Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s in social work, psychology, or related field preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

At least one (1) year experience working in behavioral health required if Bachelor’s degree is the highest education level obtained

Working knowledge of DSM‑V required

A valid driver’s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required

Reliable transportation

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

MO Substance Use credential required (CRADC or CADC) (if high school is highest education obtained)

PLPC, LMSW, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, or LCSW preferred
