Nutrition Care Specialist IRP
Department: University Hospital | Food Service Administration
Responsibilities
Provide nutritional care to patients, including screening, nutrition assessment, and care plan development.
Deliver ongoing nutrition intervention, counseling, and diet education according to department and medical center policies and procedures.
Oversee the care provided by dietetic technicians and serve as the primary link between patient care units, staff, and the Department.
Organize work and set priorities to plan programs that meet the priority nutrition and customer service needs of the patient population served.
Develop outreach activities and selected program planning.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program within the clinical discipline.
Requires a clinical license or certification. Registered Dietetic Technician.
1‑2 years of relevant experience preferred.
