RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state's newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County's largest and most active health care facility-caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year. Location: CMC Nursing Department: PICU II (2C) Facility: Community Medical Center Req #: 0000218753 Status: Hourly Shift: Night Pay Range: $20.57 - $25.81 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered will depend on factors including education, skills and experience. Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. BLS required (American Heart Association). Preferred: Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Scheduling Requirements
Night Shift, 24 hours per week, 6 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Essential Functions
The Clinical Care Technician (CCT) is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care, including phlebotomy and EKGs. Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients in the assigned service. Contribute to safe patient outcomes through appropriate practice, judgment, and actions. Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding the status of patient care. Collaborate on the patient\'s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning. Other Duties
