Overview
BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Relief Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay and Scheduling Base pay range: $27.25/hr - $38.80/hr
LVT II Pay: $27.25 - $38.80 / hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.
Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential
As a Veterinary Technician, You Will
Triage and obtain patient history
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
Advanced Radiographs
Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
Level 2 & 3 Inpatient Care
Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
