Responsibilities Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Position Summary Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assists in meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of patients in a professional and timely manner. Performs tasks as per competency documentation, provides direct care with limited invasive procedures, and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Reading and numerical competency.

Completion of BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI guidelines; all required ECC courses will be provided during orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. Handle With Care training within 6 months of hire.

Ability to provide basic patient care, with effective communication and time management skills.
