Radiology Technologist PRN Rotating Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist I works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting.

Qualifications
Education:
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
Experience:
One year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) Required, NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) required.
Additional Skills:
Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient age. Ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
Preferred:
NH Medical Registry-eligible in Radiography by ARRT, Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT, required within 6 months of hire.
