role. Overview
CHAW is seeking a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) with active BCBA/BCaBA certification to provide behavior consultation under Virginia’s DD waivers. This consultative service includes assessment, behavior support planning, training, modeling interventions, and data‑based monitoring. Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs). Develop Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) with proactive strategies and replacement behaviors. Provide training and consultation to families, caregivers, and staff. Model behavioral interventions during in-person sessions as needed. Participate in annual ISP meetings and quarterly reviews. Collect and analyze data; provide graphing/tabulated updates. Complete Medicaid documentation (progress notes, quarterly/annual/final reviews, training logs). Qualifications
Licensed in Virginia as LBA/LABA. Active BCBA/BCaBA certification from BACB. Experience working with individuals with ID/DD. Schedule & Modality
Unit: 1 hour; flexible consultative schedule. In‑person required for assessments, BSP development, and training. Frequency determined by ISP authorization (commonly 1–4 visits/month).
