Wellness Recovery Services Behavioral Health Clinician (ACSW/LCSW)
One Community Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (ASW/LCSW) to join our Wellness Recovery Services and Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) Programs. This role is ideal for a clinician who is strongly committed to harm reduction, person‑centered care, and trauma‑informed practices and excited to work within a peer support, MAT, and mutual aid treatment model. The social worker will conduct clinical assessments using the ASAM Criteria, and provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy. They will also serve as vital consultants and collaborators within a multidisciplinary team, supporting clients with co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders on their journey toward recovery and self‑defined wellness.

Pay Details:
ASW/ACSW: $76,632.39 – $96,917.43 per year
LCSW: $102,304.07 – $129,384.56 per year
Essential Functions:
Conduct ASAM assessments and collaboratively develop individualized care and treatment plans.
Provide evidence‑informed psychotherapy (individual, couples, family, and group) to clients in various stages of recovery.
Consult regularly with certified AOD counselors to provide clinical insight on co‑occurring mental health conditions and to collaboratively provide care.
Integrate harm reduction principles and trauma‑informed care into all therapeutic interventions and interactions.
Facilitate or co‑facilitate groups using models such as SMART Recovery, Seeking Safety, The Matrix Model, Conscious Recovery, and other mutual aid and empowerment‑based frameworks.
Serve as a clinical resource for staff and clients, promoting resilience‑focused and strength‑based care planning and case formulation.
Collaborate with primary care, MAT providers, case managers, and other OCH departments and programs to ensure coordinated, integrated care.
Maintain up‑to‑date documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Registered as an ASW or holds an LCSW in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with people who use substances or live with co‑occurring disorders, particularly in harm reduction and recovery‑oriented settings.
Proficiency in DSM‑5‑TR diagnostic criteria and experience with co‑occurring disorder assessment and treatment planning.
Training and practical experience in Motivational Interviewing.
Familiarity with a range of substance use treatment approaches such as Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT), SMART Recovery, Seeking Safety, Conscious Recovery, Contingency Management, The Matrix Model, and similar frameworks.
Active CPR and BLS Certification.
Preferred Background:
Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).
Experience with Health Information Systems; health data collection, management, and analysis; and Quality Improvement strategies.
Experience and/or knowledge in managing and compliance with the federal HRSA‑HIV/AIDS Bureau grant funding.
Ability to collaborate effectively across a broad spectrum of backgrounds and perspectives, demonstrating inclusive thinking and interpersonal awareness.
Demonstrated person‑centered approach and familiarity with trauma‑informed systems and restorative practices.
