Electrical Test Lab Technician

to join our dynamic team. As a

Senior Electrical Test Lab Technician , you will be responsible for performing various electrical tests to evaluate the performance and functionality of our products. You will work closely with our engineers and other technicians to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology and make a meaningful impact in the field of electrical testing. Responsibilities: Perform electrical tests on battery products and associated electrical/electronic components and record test data accurately. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems. Calibrate and maintain test equipment and tools. Collaborate with engineers to develop and improve test procedures. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols. Provide technical support to other teams within the organization. Assist in the design and implementation of new test setups and systems. Lead teams for continuous improvement and promote regular team meetings using system tools. Support product engineering tasks, including test setup, data collection, and summary of test data, as defined by TRs and EFTs. Qualifications: High school diploma plus two years of specialized vocational school training in electrical, electronics, or related technical field, or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical testing or a similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical and/or electronic test lab environment. At least 1 year of experience in battery system and component testing, including battery chargers and ancillary devices. Proficient with computers, software, and programming of automated test equipment. Mechanically inclined with the ability to assemble specialized test fixtures for qualification and acceptance testing of batteries and electrical equipment. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings. Familiarity with basic chemistry. Knowledge of programming automated test systems (e.g., Digatron, Bitorde, Enechron). Knowledge of electrical, chemical, and mechanical requirements for testing battery systems, with emphasis on nickel cadmium, vented, and maintenance-free assemblies. Understanding of SA9100, FAA repair station regulations, and safety issues related to handling potassium hydroxide, high currents, and heavy equipment.
