R25092022**Summary****Job Description:****RN-Progressive Care Unit-Full-Time******* Performs care requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical and social sciences in the application of the nursing process.* Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards.* Must possess ability to supervise CNAs, Techs, Unit Secretaries, and Clinical students.* All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.* Ability to identify the scope of practice issues, prioritization, critical thinking, effective decision making, communication, interpersonal relationship skills, delegation and team leading skills consistent with the level of professional growthI. **Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required*** Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing* Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or Kentucky work permit.* Certifications based on the unit worked:

+ ACLS
+ PALS
+ NRP
+ BCA
+ LTA
+ 12 Lead EKG
+ CPI
+ TNCC
+ ENPC
+ AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
+ Patient Deterioration
