About the Job As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you’ll perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations—including OB, high-risk, vascular, abdominal, small parts, and invasive procedures—while delivering compassionate care and producing high-quality diagnostic images. You’ll collaborate closely with Radiologists, support new staff training, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality throughout every interaction.
What You’ll Do
Review patient medical history and reconcile physician orders
Complete required documentation prior to exams
Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols
Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures
Ensure image quality and proper documentation
Present images for interpretation and consult on findings
Use RIS and PACS systems proficiently
Uphold HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Safely move patients using appropriate equipment
Support onboarding and training of new staff
Who You Are
Graduate of an AMA-approved ultrasound training program
ARDMS certified or eligible (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
Licensed by the NH Board of Medical Imaging
Proficient in computer systems and data entry
Able to multitask and prioritize effectively
Compassionate, patient-focused, and a strong communicator
