Provides respiratory care for residents who are ventilator-dependent or have other pulmonary needs, including weaning, under the direction of the Pulmonologist. Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA-approved program for respiratory therapy (minimum 1-year program) Appropriate experience in all aspects of respiratory care NYS Department of Education License as a Respiratory Therapist Technician Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) Current BCLS certification Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, CPOE, touchscreen, EMAR, ETAR, etc. Knowledge of clinical practice guidelines and best practices Compensation
