Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit.
Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress post-anesthesia.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
Support a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.
Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
Utilize data to assess and enhance patient care outcomes.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in Florida with PACU experience preferred.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Eagerness to work in a results-driven environment with measurable performance.
Strong knowledge of post-anesthesia recovery protocols and patient care.
Demonstrated ability to monitor and evaluate patient vital signs effectively.
Strong adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Ability to educate patients and families on post-operative care.
Experience in collaborating with surgical teams for patient transitions.
Ability to utilize data for improving patient care outcomes.
Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation of patient care.
