Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mid-Level CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of CNC machinery, capable of independently setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts. We primarily handle short runs, with 80% of our runs being less than 30 pieces, requiring multiple setups per day. Key Responsibilities: Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical data to set up and operate CNC machines. Perform machine setup, calibration, and tool changes efficiently. Manage multiple setups per day. Conduct quality checks on machined parts using precision measurement tools. Troubleshoot and resolve machine operation and tooling issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety protocols. Document production activities, machine settings, and inspection results. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiencies. Requirements: 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines. Ability to operate manual machines is a plus. Proficiency with CNC programming languages such as G-code and conversational programming. Strong understanding of materials, tooling, and machining processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of CNC machine tools such as mills, lathes, and saws. Certification in CNC machining or related fields.
