Physical Therapist Aide/Receptionist - Physical Therapy–Rotating Shifts

Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of physical and occupational therapy services by supporting the therapists as directed. Maintain the environment of care and greet/interact with patients, therapists and registrars to ensure smooth patient flow and customer satisfaction. Maintain supplies, equipment, and treatment areas in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support operations. Provide a calm and reassuring presence for patients as they navigate their hospital experience. This position is a full-time rotating shifts position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY. The rotation of shifts may include off-site locations: Physical Therapy at Cold Spring located at 1756 Route 9D, Cold Spring, NY and Physical Therapy at Croton located at 420 South Riverside Avenue, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.

Qualifications

Preferred Criteria High School or equivalent Required Criteria Ability to communicate with co-workers, patients, physicians, visitors, and families. Ability to work in surroundings with degree of dust, noise, odors, etc. without undue discomfort. Ability to read, write and interpret documents. Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time to perform job functions. Occasionally required to assist in moving patients and equipment. Some moderate to heavy lifting

Salary Range:

$21.00-$25.00/Hourly
