Overview
The candidate must demonstrate clinical competence through the effective utilization of the nursing process. This includes the assessment and identification of patient problems and needs, the establishment of a comprehensive plan of care, the implementation of appropriate interventions, and the evaluation and revision of the patient care plan in accordance with observed patient progress. Responsibilities
Assessment and identification of patient problems and needs. Establishment of a comprehensive plan of care. Implementation of appropriate interventions. Evaluation and revision of the patient care plan based on observed patient progress. Primary focus on Computed Tomography (CT) with occasional support for X-Ray services. Qualifications
Experience with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Meditech is required. Proficiency with X-Ray equipment, specifically Digital Diagnost and Philips C-Arm, and with the Philips Ingenuity CT system. Preference for candidates with travel experience. Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting is encouraged. Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT). Certification requirements include Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) and a New Hampshire License in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Candidates who hold an active out-of-state radiology license may apply for a temporary New Hampshire MIRT license.
