Part Time Clinical Instructor - Nursing
Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a public institution located in Macon, GA, offers multiple campuses including Macon, Warner Robins, Cochran, and Dublin. The Nursing Department seeks a Part‑Time Clinical Instructor to provide clinical supervision in hospital and laboratory settings.

Job Summary This position requires a strong commitment to excellence in providing clinical supervision to nursing students in a controlled hospital and/or laboratory setting. Responsibilities include clinical teaching during day/evening hours, weekdays/weekends, and travel among MGA campuses. The instructor will supervise nursing students in the Nursing Program.
Responsibilities
Conduct clinical instruction and supervision of nursing students.
Participate in student‑faculty activities to strengthen relationships.
Plan clinical experiences for students during rotations.
Supervise clinical instruction and inform the coordinator of progress or problems.
Review student learning objectives, course syllabus, and textbooks.
Confirm student assignments and alignment with theory content.
Provide feedback about adequacy of clinical sites in meeting course objectives.
Participate in student clinical formative and summative evaluations.
Maintain necessary records and reports.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Assist in department budget input and skill‑lab maintenance.
Maintain relationships with cooperating agencies and seek new clinical resources.
Stay current with trends in nursing education and practice.
Participate in professional and community activities related to health care improvement.
Maintain personal development through ongoing faculty activities.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
Other Required Qualifications:
Current Unencumbered Georgia Registered Nurse license; evidence of continued professional development.
Required Experience:
1–2 years of recent professional nursing experience.
Additional Requirements
Travel between MGA campuses (Macon, Warner Robins, Cochran, Dublin) for on‑campus laboratory experience is required.
Ability to work day and evening hours, including weekdays and weekends.
