Job Title: Clinical Research Assistant (HS)
Department: Medicine | IM Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep
To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies within the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Critical Care Clinical Research Team in partnership with the College of Medicine Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.
Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience.
Required Experience 0 years of relevant experience required.
Preferred Experience 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience in research capacity desired.
Knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired.
Experience in phlebotomy may be desired.
Experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens desired.
Computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.
FUNCTION/SUBFUNCTION: Research and Scholarship/Clinical Research
CAREER BAND: Individual contributor- Technical
CAREER LEVEL: T2
Additional Information This position will require on-call hours as well as possible evening, weekend, and/or holiday shifts.
Location: Optometry Clinic (1041)
Position Type: Regular
Scheduled Hours: 40
Shift First Shift
