Phlebotomist I – Orlando, FL
Location:
Orlando, FL
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends.
Pay range:
$17.75+ per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education and applicable certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
Administer oral solutions per training.
Research test/client information and confirm all orders using lab technology, client contact, and approved tools.
Navigate a computer and accurately enter data to support the role.
Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport per test order.
Perform non‑patient facing duties: inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using email.
Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required.
Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance logs, temperature logs) in a timely manner based on required frequency.
Complete all online and in‑person training courses on time.
Qualifications Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in CA, NV, WA).
Work Experience
One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
