School Nurse Substitute – Waterville-Elysian-Morristown School District #2143
We are looking for a substitute School Nurse that can be contacted to work in our Health Offices. Licensed Nurse Fixed Pay Rate $200/day. Applications should be submitted through Applitrack. Education And Experience Requirements
One (1) year of experience as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) with six (6) months in school health services, public health, hospital or psychiatric nursing.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children across K-12 age groups.
Licensure Requirements
Must possess and retain a license as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Minnesota.
School Nurse License issued by Professional Educator Licensing Standards Board (PELSB) is preferred, but not required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid certification.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care aligned with students individual health plans, including medication administration and management of chronic conditions.
Conduct health screenings and assessments to monitor student wellness.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and safety.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or other necessary interventions.
