The Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG) Women’s Service Line seeks a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for a diverse central Florida community. The OBGYN Faculty Hospitalist team serves as the principal faculty for the Orlando Health OBGYN Residency Teaching Program, hosting 29+ resident physicians. The program is structured as a hospitalist model with protected academic time. The position offers comprehensive clinical opportunities including labor and delivery, postpartum care, gynecology, and practice-based care, in partnership with resident physicians. The OBGYN Hospitalist Faculty group, together with the OBGYN residency team, currently manages over 3,500 deliveries each year. Highlights About The Orlando Community

Since 2006, Winnie Palmer Hospital has provided dedicated programs focused on women and newborns. Our team provides services across gynecology, obstetrics, and newborn care. The hospital has 350 beds, including 142 NICU beds. As a Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Hospital for Florida, high-risk obstetrical patients and their infants are referred to our specialists. A two-story sky bridge connects us to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children for efficient transport and resource sharing. Responsibilities

Flexible monthly schedule of 13 clinical thirteen-hour night shifts and 1 non-clinical twelve-hour academic shift. Ability to pick up additional shifts. No on-call. Serve as an attending midwife to patients and supervise and teach OBGYN residents collaboratively with attending physicians. Collaborate with MFM physicians and other OBGYN subspecialists to provide comprehensive care. Work in an acute care environment as a member of a care team. Provide 24/7 clinical coverage across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Gynecology, and Obstetrical Triage. Collaborate with physicians and APRN colleagues. Benefits/Compensation

Paid licensure and board certification fees (Florida licensure, Florida DEA, AMCB) in addition to the CME stipend. Resident Education and Mentorship

Provide educational sessions during clinical shifts. Participate in resident didactic teaching sessions and rotational evaluations. Mentor residents throughout the academic year. Contribute to the development of care algorithms, clinical protocols, and quality improvement projects that support evidence-based care. Qualifications

Education/Training

Master’s degree (or higher) from an ACME-accredited program. Licensure/Certification

Certified Nurse-Midwife (AMCB) recertified every five years via the Certificate Maintenance Program. Active Florida APRN licensure with CNM certification renewed every two years. Current BLS/Health Care Provider and NRP certifications. Experience

Prefer 3-5 years of CNM practice experience; a strong midwifery background may be considered without the exact years. Experience with first assisting in surgical procedures preferred; willingness to learn if not. Demonstrated passion for teaching and ability to thrive in a busy clinical environment. Seniority level
