EP Lab RN Job Details – Norfolk, VA
Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Nursing Contract) Location: Norfolk, VA 23507 (Virginia healthcare jobs) Facility Setting: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Start Date: August 10, 2025 End Date: November 16, 2025 Contract Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 10-hour day shifts Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,330 - $2,390
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state) Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an EP Lab RN or in a similar acute care nursing role Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Strong clinical skills in electrophysiology procedures, patient monitoring, and cardiac care Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
EP Lab RN Responsibilities
Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after EP procedures Administer medications and provide patient education related to electrophysiology and cardiac procedures Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital safety protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
