Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the laboratory of Dr. Rui Tang studying small cell lung cancer metastasis. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Dissect genetic drivers in cancer cell and endothelial cell interactions in metastatic seeding. Identify cancer-derived genetic drivers in T cell-cancer cell interactions in the immune microenvironment. Develop novel single cell technologies to link cancer-stroma transcriptome within the metastatic tumor microenvironment. Working Conditions

This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals. Salary

Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree (or anticipate receiving their degree in the near future) in Cancer Biology or a related field. Proficiency in experimental techniques such as cell/organoid culture, library construction, imaging and handling animal models. Experience in bioinformatics analysis is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams. Demonstrated track record of scientific productivity, including publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Other
